Minutes:
The Committee had before it a report by the interim Director of Communities, Housing and Infrastructure which provided details of an application submitted by a commercial tenant to acquire the ownership interest in the property leased to them.
The report recommended:-
that the Committee –
(a) approve in principle, the sale of the property to the tenant at a sale price as outlined within the report; and
(b) delegate authority to the Head of Legal & Democratic Services to formally conclude missives for the sale of the property incorporating various qualifications as are necessary to protect the Council’s interests.
The Committee resolved:-
to approve the recommendations.
