Issue - meetings

    (i)        to note the progress made in implementation of the Reclaiming Social Work model; and

  (ii)        to note the identified changes to the initial Reclaiming Social Work model as detailed at section 3.12 and 3.13 of the report to enable the Service to deliver full implementation of the model.

With reference to article 21 of the minute of the meeting of the Education and Children’s Services Committee of 1 June 2017, the Committee had before it a report by the acting Director of Education and Children’s Services which provided an update on the implementation of Reclaiming Social Work.

The report recommended –

that the Committee

(a)          note the progress made in implementation of the Reclaiming Social Work model; and

(b)          note the identified changes to the initial Reclaiming Social Work model as detailed at section 3.12 and 3.13 of the report to enable the Service to deliver full implementation of the model.

The Committee resolved:

to approve the recommendations.
