to approve the recommendations contained within the exempt report.
Minutes:
With reference to article 9 of the minute of meeting of the Property Sub Committee of 2 September 2015, the Committee had before it a report by the interim Director of Communities, Housing and Infrastructure which sought approval to grant a new long term lease of the engine shed and grounds to the Ferryhill Railway Heritage Trust (the Trust).
The report recommended:-
that the Committee –
(a) approve the proposed terms for a new 50 year lease to the Trust; and
(b) instruct the Head of Legal and Democratic Services to formalise the lease incorporating appropriate terms and conditions to protect the Council’s interest.
The Committee resolved:-
to approve the recommendations.
