Decision:

(i)       in relation to the work programme to note that the Director of Resources would look at how the overall contract had been costed and provide information to the Committee via email;

(ii)      in relation to whether Sustrans funding would alleviate some of the costs for the Council, to note that the Director of Resources would source the information and circulate to the Committee via email;

(iii)      to note the progress achieved in the Union Terrace Gardens transformation; and

(iv)     to instruct the Chief Officer Capital to provide a further update on progress to this Committee in January 2020.

Minutes:

The Committee had before it a report by the Director of Resources which provided an update on progress of the delivery of Union Terrace Gardens (UTG) project which has an anticipated completion date of Summer 2021.

 

The report recommended:-

That the Committee -

(a)      note the progress achieved in the Union Terrace Gardens transformation; and

(b)      to instruct the Chief Officer Capital to provide a further update on progress to this Committee in January 2020.

 

The Committee resolved:-

(i)       in relation to the work programme to note that the Director of Resources would look at how the overall contract had been costed and provide information to the Committee via email;

(ii)      in relation to whether Sustrans funding would alleviate some of the costs for the Council, to note that the Director of Resources would source the information and circulate to the Committee via email; and

(iii)      to otherwise approve the recommendations contained in the report.
