(i)       to note that 3 schools (Northfield Academy, Lochside Academy and St Machar Academy) would continue with the MCR Pathways programme for the duration of academic year 2023/24. Lochside Academy and St Machar Academy would fund the programme through their Pupil Equity fund and Northfield Academy would be supported to fund the programme through the Scottish Attainment challenge Care Experienced Fund.

The Committee had before it a report by the Interim Director of Children’s and Family Services which provided an update on the continuation of the MCR Pathways Programme in Aberdeen City Schools.

The report recommended:-

that the Committee note that three schools (Northfield Academy, Lochside Academy and St Machar Academy) would continue with the MCR Pathways programme for the duration of academic year 2023/24 - Lochside Academy and St Machar Academy would fund the programme through their Pupil Equity fund and Northfield Academy would be supported to fund the programme through the Scottish Attainment challenge Care Experienced Fund.
