Issue - meetings

(i)            to note progress on delivery of the national Suicide Prevention Strategy, Action Plan and local implementation; and

(ii)          to instruct the Chief Officer to provide an update on progress annually to the Integration Joint Board.

The Board had before it the published national Suicide Prevention Strategy and Action Plan providing assurance on activities locally.  The Lead for Community Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Drug and Alcohol Services introduced the report.

The report recommended:-

that the Board:

(a)          note the progress on the delivery of the national Suicide Prevention Strategy, Action Plan and local implementation; and

(b)          instruct the Chief Officer to provide an update on progress annually to the Integration Joint Board.

The Board resolved:-

to agree the recommendations.
