The Board had before it the Chief Social Work Officer’s Annual Report for year 2024/25, the purpose of which was to inform Members of the role and responsibilities exercised by the Chief Social Work Officer; to provide information on the delivery of statutory social work services and decision making in the period; and to give a progress report on key areas of social work activity within Aberdeen City.

The report recommended:-

that the Board note the content of the Annual Report, as attached at Appendix 1 of the report.
