Application Reference Number – 4/02

Premises – 61 Leslie Road

With reference to article 2 of appendix A of the minute of its meeting of 2 September 2014, wherein it was agreed to defer consider of the application for a House in Multiple Occupation license at 61 Leslie Road, Aberdeen until a site visit had been undertaken, the Committee attended the property and undertook the visit in accordance with the protocol which had been circulated.

Mrs Lynn May, Legal Services, reminded Members of the protocol and explained that since its previous meeting the applicant had advised that he would not be proceeding with the conversion of the ground-floor utility room into a letting bedroom and therefore this aspect of his application had now been withdrawn.

Mr Ally Thain and Mr Doug Yeats, Private Sector Housing, showed Members around the exterior of the property with both the respondent and the applicant present.  Thereafter, Members visited the inside of the property during which both the respondent and the applicant remained outside.

The Committee resolved:-

to note that the application would be heard again in full at the Committee’s next meeting on 25 November 2014 to which both the applicant and any objector would be invited to attend and address the Committee and answer any questions from Members.
