The Board had before it a letter of representation dated 23 February 2018 from Police Scotland and a letter of objection dated 21 February 2018 from the NHS.

 

Sergeant Flett and Ms Wilson spoke to their letters, thereafter the agent, Mr Thompson, solicitor, and the applicant addressed the Board in support of the application.

 

The Board resolved:

 

To grant the application subject to the local conditions in respect of CCTV, Drugs Policy, radio links, door stewards and outdoor seating areas.  In particular, the demarcation of outdoor areas, no amplified music in external areas and a terminal hour of 22:00hrs.

The Board heard from Mr Alexander Munro, legal advisor, that the agent had submitted an amended operating plan and therefore, Police Scotland and the Licensing Standards officer had withdrawn their letter and memo of representation.

 

Sergeant Flett and Ms Gilchrist confirmed the above.

 

The Board resolved:

 

To grant the application as amended subject to the local condition in respect to drugs policy.

The Board had before it a letters of representation dated 23 February 2018 from Police Scotland and dated 21 February 2018 from the NHS.  They also had before them an email of representation from the Community Council and a memo of representation from the Licensing Standard Officer.

 

Sergeant Flett, Ms Wilson and Ms Gilchrist spoke to their letters and memo.  Thereafter, Mr Fraser, Solicitor, spoke in support of the application.

 

The Board resolved:

 

To grant the application as amended with the local condition in respect of the Drugs Policy.

The Board had before it eight emails of objection from the public and one email of representation from the Community Council.

 

The three objectors in attendance spoke to their emails, thereafter, Mr Dawson, solicitor, spoke in support of the application.

This application was deferred from the meeting of 24 January 2018

 

The Board had before it a letter of representation dated 22 November 2017 from Police Scotland.  A memo of representation dated 23 November 2017 and 20 November 2017 from the Licensing Standard Officer and Environmental Health respectively, and a letter of objection from the Disability Equality Partnership.

 

Sergeant Flett, Ms Gilchrist, and Mr Gilchrist spoke to their letter and memos.  Thereafter, Mr Cummins, Solicitor, addressed the Board in support of the application

 

The Board resolved:

 

To grant the application 5 votes to 3
