 Declarations of interest for agenda item 'Joint Motion by Councillors Greig and Jennifer Stewart - Kincorth and Hazlehead Swimming Pools'

  • Councillor Alan Donnelly - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Donnelly declared an interest by virtue of his position as a Council appointed Director to the Board of Sport Aberdeen but chose to remain in the meeting as Sport Aberdeen was a body being a company established wholly or mainly for the purpose of providing services to the local authority, and which had entered into a contractual arrangement with the local authority for the supply of goods and/or services to the local authority, as set out in paragraph 5.18(2)(d)(i) and (ii) of the Councillors' Code of Conduct.
  • Councillor Graeme Lawrence expired - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Lawrence declared an interest by virtue of his position as a Council appointed Director to the Board of Sport Aberdeen but chose to remain in the meeting as Sport Aberdeen was a body being a company established wholly or mainly for the purpose of providing services to the local authority, and which had entered into a contractual arrangement with the local authority for the supply of goods and/or services to the local authority, as set out in paragraph 5.18(2)(d)(i) and (ii) of the Councillors' Code of Conduct.
  • Councillor Steve Delaney, the Depute Provost - Personal - Councillor Delaney declared an interest by virtue of a family member being a service user at Hazlehead swimming pool and would therefore be negatively affected by its proposed closure. Councillor Delaney considered that the nature of his interest required him to leave the meeting, and took no part in the Council's deliberations thereon.
