With reference to article 30 of the minute of meeting of the Finance, Policy and Resources Committee of 29 June 2017, the Committee had before it a report by the Director of Resources, which provided an update on the demolition programme of the site and to advise of the request from the proposed purchaser to revise the sale price.
The report recommended:-
that the Committee delegate authority to the Chief Officer – Corporate Landlord to tender for and award contract to progress a demolition programme for the site as detailed in paragraph 4.2 of this report.
The Committee resolved:-
(i) to approve the recommendation; and
(ii) to report back to the next meeting of the Committee on the progress to date.
