The Committee had before it a report by the Director of Resources which outlined a request from an admitted body of the North East Scotland Pension Fund, for Aberdeen City Council to become a guarantor for their pension fund liabilities.

The report recommended:-

that the Committee approve that Aberdeen City Council act as guarantor for the admitted body outlined in the report in respect of their North East Scotland Pension Fund liabilities.

The Committee resolved:-

to approve the recommendation.
