Issue - meetings

(i)           to note the report on the ongoing reorganisation of the Council’s charitable trusts and management action contained therein; and

(ii)          to instruct officers to continue to work with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) on the reorganisation of the charitable trusts.

The Council had before it a report by the Interim Director of Corporate Governance which provided an update on the reorganisation of charitable trusts of which the Council was the trustee.

The report recommended:-

that the Council -

(a)          note the report on the ongoing reorganisation of the Council’s charitable trusts and management action contained therein; and

(b)          instruct officers to continue to work with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) on the reorganisation of the charitable trusts.

The Council resolved:-

to approve the recommendations.
