Decision:
(i) to note the income and expenditure position for the year ended 31 March 2017;
(ii) to note the cash balances as at 31 March 2017 of £17.36m, which is within the recommended levels indicated by the Head of Finance; and
(iii) to agree to carry forward £280k of the 2016/17 budget underspends in earmarked reserves to allow the completion of park and property maintenance and development projects in future years.
Minutes:
The Committee had before it a report by the Head of Finance which provided details of the income and expenditure position of the Common Good Fund for the year ended 31 March 2017 and the cash balances as at 31 March 2017.
The report recommended:-
that the Committee –
(a) note the income and expenditure position for the year ended 31 March 2017;
(b) note the cash balances as at 31 March 2017 of £17.36m, which is within the recommended levels indicated by the Head of Finance; and
(c) agree to carry forward £280k of the 2016/17 budget underspends in earmarked reserves to allow the completion of park and property maintenance and development projects in future years.
The Committee resolved:-
to approve the recommendations.
