Issue - meetings

(i)         to note the update provided in this report;

(ii)        to reaffirm the Council’s commitment to the World Energy Cities Partnership; and

(iii)       to delegate to officers in Economic Development whether a bid to host the World Energy Cities Partnership Annual General Meeting should be explored for 2019 or 2021

The Committee had before it a report by the Interim Director of Communities, Housing and Infrastructure which provided an annual update on the Council’ engagement with the World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP).

The report recommended:-

That the Committee -

(a)       Note the update provided in this report;

(b)       Reaffirm the Council’s commitment to the World Energy Cities Partnership; and

(c)        Consider whether a bid to host the World Energy Cities Partnership Annual General Meeting should be explored for 2019 or 2021.

The Committee resolved:-

to agree the recommendations.
