Decision:
to approve the recommendations contained within the exempt report.
Minutes:
The Committee had before it a report by the interim Director of Communities, Housing and Infrastructure which advised of an approach made by a company to enter into a long term ground lease for an area of ground of circa 0.064 hectares (0.157 acres) which was required in relation to the development of a sub-station as part of the wider proposals for the development of an offshore windfarm.
The report recommended:-
that the Committee –
(a) approve the proposal for the Council to enter into a long term ground lease of the subjects; and
(b) instruct the Head of Legal and Democratic Services to conclude the appropriate legal agreements incorporating various qualifications as are necessary to protect the Council’s interests.
The Committee resolved:-
to approve the recommendations.
