Decision:
to note the content of the report and endorse the recommendations for improvement as agreed by the Service.
Minutes:
The Committee had before it a report by the Internal Auditor which presented an audit in relation to Post Election Training for Councillors which was undertaken to ensure that appropriate arrangements were made for induction and training of Councillors following the May 2017 Local Government Elections and that the training delivered was effective.
The report recommended:
that the Committee review, discuss and comment on the issues raised within the report and the attached appendix.
The Committee resolved:-
to note the content of the report and endorse the recommendations for improvement as agreed by the Service.
