Issue - meetings

to note that the Convener and Councillor Flynn declared an interest in item 9.1 (Council House Building Programme) by virtue of their positions as Council appointed Directors of the LLP, the Convener considered that the nature of her interest did not require her to leave the meeting at that item on the agenda and  Councillor Flynn considered that the nature of his interest required him to leave the meeting at that item on the agenda.

Members were requested to intimate any declarations of interest in respect of the items on the agenda, thereafter, the following declarations of interest were intimated:-

(1)      the Convener declared an interest in item 9.1 (Council House Building Programme) by virtue of her position as a Council appointed Director of the LLP and considered that the nature of her interest did not require her to leave the meeting at that item on the agenda;

(2)      Councillor Flynn declared an interest in item 9.1 (Council House Building Programme) by virtue of his position as a Council appointed Director of the LLP and considered that the nature of his interest required him to leave the meeting at that item on the agenda.

The Committee resolved:-

to note the declarations of interest.
