Issue - meetings

(i)           to approve the Council’s Treasury Management Policy Statement for 2019/20 to 2021/22 as detailed at Appendix 1;

(ii)          to approve the Council’s Borrowing Strategy for 2019/20 to 2021/22 as detailed at Appendix 2;

(iii)         to approve the Council’s Investment Strategy for 2019/20 to 2021/22 as detailed at Appendix 3; and

(iv)         to approve the Council’s Counterparty list as detailed at Appendix 4.

The Council had before it a report by the Director of Resources which outlined the Treasury Management Policy and Strategy for 2019/20 to 2021/22 for approval.

The report recommended:-

that the Council -

(a)          consider and approve the Council’s Treasury Management Policy Statement for 2019/20 to 2021/22 as detailed at Appendix 1;

(b)          consider and approve the Council’s Borrowing Strategy for 2019/20 to 2021/22 as detailed at Appendix 2;

(c)          consider and approve the Council’s Investment Strategy for 2019/20 to 2021/22 as detailed at Appendix 3; and

(d)          approve the Council’s Counterparty list as detailed at Appendix 4.

The Council resolved:-

to approve the recommendations.
