to approve the updates to the charging policy for adult social care services known as “Contributing to your Care and Support” and notes it will be implemented from 1st July 2019.

With reference to article 19 of the minute of meeting of the Education and Children’s Services Committee of 2 June 2015, the Committee had before it a report by the Chief Officer - Health and Social Care Partnership, which sought approval of the previously approved Charging Policy for Adult Social Care as a result of recent legislative developments and review.

The report recommended:-

that the Committee approve the updates to the charging policy for adult social care services known as “Contributing to your Care and Support” and notes it would be implemented from 1st July 2019.

The Committee resolved:-

to approve the recommendation.
