Issue - meetings

(i)       to note the milestones achieved to date for the project and those that remained, to ensure successful operation of the facility;

(ii)      to note the financial position for the project; and

(iii)      to instruct the Chief Officer - Capital to provide a further update on progress at the next Capital Programme Committee in January 2020.

The Committee had before it a report by the Director of Resources which provided an update on progress made with regards to the procurement/construction/operation of the Energy from Waste Facility at East Tullos Industrial Estate.

The report recommended:-

That the Committee -

(a)      note the milestones achieved to date for the project and those that remained, to ensure successful operation of the facility;

(b)      note the financial position for the project; and

(c)      instruct the Chief Officer - Capital to provide a further update on progress at the next Capital Programme Committee in January 2020.

The Committee resolved:-

to approve the recommendations contained in the report.
