Decision:
to agree to adopt COSLA’s “Family Leave Guidance for Councils”, as appended to the report.
Minutes:
The Council had before it a report by the Chief Officer - Governance which provided details of guidance which was endorsed by COSLA (Convention of Scottish Local Authorities) Leaders and issued to Scottish Councils to consider adopting which would support Elected Members during periods of maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave.
The report recommended:-
that the Council agree to adopt COSLA’s “Family Leave Guidance for Councils”, as appended to the report.
The Council resolved:-
to approve the recommendation.
