to note the outcome of the annual review was affirmation of the Aa3 rating, with the economic outlook reduced to ‘negative’ from ‘stable’, in line with the recent change to the UK’s rating.

With reference to article 15 of the minute of meeting of full Council of 14 December 2016, the Committee had before it a report by the Director of Resources which provided an overview of the recent credit rating annual review and outcome.

The report recommended:-

that the Committee note the outcome of the annual review was affirmation of the Aa3 rating, with the economic outlook reduced to ‘negative’ from ‘stable’, in line with the recent change to the UK’s rating.

The Committee resolved:-

to approve the recommendation.
