Decision:
(i) to approve the erection of a plaque to Donald Colman at 342 King Street; and
(ii) that officers consider publishing the qualification criteria for memorial plaques on the website, and to omit this information from future reports.
Minutes:
The Committee had before it a report by the Chief Officer – City Growth which sought approval for the erection of a plaque to Donald Colman, Footballer, International Coach and inventor of the touchline dugout at 342 King Street, Aberdeen.
The report recommended:-
that the Committee approve the erection of a plaque to Donald Colman at 342 King Street.
The Committee resolved:-
(i) to approve the recommendation; and
(ii) that officers consider publishing the qualification criteria for memorial plaques on the website, and to omit this information from future reports.
