The Committee resolved :-

(i)            to note and endorse the information contained within this report and appendices; and

(ii)          to note that in future an annual assurance report will be presented to the Committee by the Chief Officer – Early Intervention and Community Empowerment.

The Committee had before it the report from the Chief Officer – Early Intervention and Community Engagement in his capacity as Chair of the Community Justice Group which updated the Committee on the progress of the Aberdeen Violence Against Women Partnership (AVAWP).

Members heard an overview of the report and of some of the challenges experienced during the pandemic period.

The report recommended :-

that the Committee –

(i)            note and endorse the information contained within this report and appendices; and

(ii)          note that in future an annual assurance report will be presented to the Committee by the Chief Officer – Early Intervention and Community Empowerment.
