Decision:
to note the update within the report in respect of the Council’s covert surveillance activity during quarter 3 of the current year.
Minutes:
The Committee had before it a report by the Director of Commissioning which was presented to ensure that Elected Members reviewed the Council’s use of covert surveillance on a quarterly basis in order to provide assurance that it is used consistently in accordance with the Corporate Protocol and Procedure on Covert Surveillance.
The report recommended:-
That the Committee note the update within the report in respect of the Council’s covert surveillance activity during quarter 3 of the current year.
The Committee resolved:-
to approve the recommendation contained in the report.
