The Committee had before it the annual committee effectiveness report by the Director of Commissioning for consideration. The annual effectiveness reports had been introduced in 2018/19 following a recommendation from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) as part of the Council’s work towards securing that organisation’s accreditation in governance excellence.
The Convener stated that he would like to take the opportunity to thank Members of the Committee and Board and officers for their support and contributions both at and outwith Committee during what had been a very difficult year.
The report recommended:-
that the Committee –
(a) provide comments and observations on the data contained within the annual report; and
(b) note the annual report of the Pensions Committee.
The Committee resolved:-
to note the report.
The Board resolved:-
to note the decision of the Committee.
