Issue - meetings

The Board resolved:-

(i)             to agree the Integration Joint Board’s Audited Accounts for 2021/22, as attached at Appendix A of the report;

(ii)           to instruct the Chief Finance Officer to submit the approved audited accounts to NHS Grampian and Aberdeen City Council;

(iii)          to instruct the Chief Finance Officer to sign the representation letter, as attached at Appendix B of the report;

(iv)          to note the recommendations and management comments on the Annual Audit Report, as attached at Appendix C of the report;

(v)           to agree that the Chief Financial Officer provide an update report on the IJB's Financial position as soon as was reasonably practicable, either at its next meeting on 29 November 2022, or prior to that, at a special meeting of the IJB; and

(vi)          to agree that the Chief Financial Officer provide as part of the update report referred to at (v) above, an update on the covid reserves and written clarification of the legal position of the Scottish Government’s position to reclaim such funding.

The Board had before it the Annual Audited Accounts for 2021/22.

The Chief Finance Officer presented the report and responded to questions from members regarding covid reserves and the financial position of the Integration Joint Board.

The report recommended:-

that the Board:

(a)           consider and agree the Integration Joint Board’s Audited Accounts for 2021/22, as attached at Appendix A of the report;

(b)           instruct the Chief Finance Officer to submit the approved audited accounts to NHS Grampian and Aberdeen City Council;

(c)           instruct the Chief Finance Officer to sign the representation letter, as attached at Appendix B of the report; and

(d)           note the recommendations and management comments on the Annual Audit Report, as attached at Appendix C of the report.

The Board resolved:-

(i)             to agree that the Chief Financial Officer provide an update report on the IJB's Financial position as soon as was reasonably practicable, either at its next meeting on 29 November 2022, or prior to that, at a special meeting of the IJB;

(ii)           to agree that the Chief Financial Officer provide as part of the update report referred to at (i) above, an update on the covid reserves and written clarification of the legal position of the Scottish Government’s position to reclaim such funding; and

(iii)          to otherwise approve the recommendations.

The Board resolved:-

(i)             to note the performance that had been achieved in 2021/22, the final year of the last Strategic Plan;

(ii)           to approve the publication of the Annual Performance Report 2021-22 (as attached at Appendix A of the report) on the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (ACHSCP) website;

(iii)          to instruct the Chief Officer to present the approved Annual Performance Report to both Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian Board; and

(iv)          to note that Councillor Tissera and Phil Mackie would further discuss premature mortality rates offline.

The Board had before it the Annual Performance Report for 2021-22 and a report seeking approval of its publication.

The Lead for Strategy and Transformation presented the report and responded to questions from members.

The report recommended:-

that the Board:

(a)           note the performance that had been achieved in 2021/22, the final year of the last Strategic Plan;

(b)           approve the publication of the Annual Performance Report 2021-22 (as attached at Appendix A of the report) on the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (ACHSCP) website; and

(c)           instruct the Chief Officer to present the approved Annual Performance Report to both Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian Board.

The Board resolved:-

(i)             to note that Councillor Tissera and Phil Mackie would further discuss premature mortality rates offline: and

(ii)           to otherwise approve the recommendations.
