Issue - meetings

(i)       to note the progress achieved to date;

(ii)      to note the financial position for the project; and

(iii)      in relation to the meeting of the Elected Member Engagement Group that was scheduled for September 2022 and whether the minute was available, to note that the Chief Officer would discuss with the Project Manager and provide a response to Councillor Boulton.

With reference to article 5 of the minute of its meeting of 9 February 2022, the Committee had before it a report by the Director of Resources which provided an update on progress made with regards to the construction of the Ness Energy Project.

The report recommended:-

(a)      to note the progress achieved to date; and

(b)      to note the financial position for the project.

The Committee resolved:-

(i)       in relation to the meeting of the Elected Member Engagement Group that was scheduled for September 2022 and whether the minute was available, to note that the Chief Officer – Capital would discuss with the Project Manager and provide a response to Councillor Boulton; and

(ii)       to otherwise approve the recommendations contained in the report.
