Issue - meetings

(i)            to approve the extension for up to four (4) years of a contract with Bon Accord Support Services for the delivery of adult social care services, as detailed in Appendices A and C of the report;

(ii)          to approve the variation to the Direction regarding Rosewell House at Appendix D of the report; and

(iii)         to make the Directions, as attached at Appendix B and D of the report and instruct the Chief Officer to issue the Directions to Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian as appropriate.

The Board had before it a Supplementary Procurement Work Plan for 2024/25 prepared by Strategic Procurement Manager, in respect of expenditure on social care services, together with the associated procurement Business Case.

The report recommended:-

that the Board:

(a)          to approve the extension for up to four years of a contract with Bon Accord Support Services for the delivery of adult social care services, as detailed in Appendices A and C of the report;

(b)          to approve the variation to the Direction regarding Rosewell House at Appendix D of the report; and

(c)          to make the Directions, as attached at Appendix B and D of the report and instruct the Chief Officer to issue the Directions to Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian as appropriate.

The Board resolved:-

to agree the recommendations.
