In terms of Standing Order 28(5)(vi), and in accordance with Section 50(B)(4)(b) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the Sub Committee was informed that it had to determine: (1) that the items on the agenda were of an urgent nature; and (2) that the Committee required to consider the items and take a decision thereon.

The Sub Committee resolved:

to agree that the items were of an urgent nature and required to be considered this day.

Application Reference Number – 01/01

With reference to article 1 of appendix B of the minute of the meeting of the Licensing Committee of 27 January 2015, the Sub Committee had before it a letter of representation dated 24 November 2014, from the Chief Constable, Police Scotland, c/o Aberdeen City Division and heard Sergeant Gillian Flett speak in its support.

The Sub Committee heard the applicant speak in support of the application.

The Sub Committee resolved:

to grant the application.

Application Reference Number – 02/01

With reference to article 2 of appendix B of the minute of the meeting of the Licensing Committee of 27 January 2015, the Sub Committee had before it a letter of representation dated 24 November 2014, from the Chief Constable, Police Scotland, c/o Aberdeen City Division and heard Sergeant Gillian Flett speak in its support.

The Sub Committee heard the applicant speak in support of the application.

The Sub Committee resolved:

to grant the application.

Application Reference Number – 03/01

With reference to article 20 of appendix A of the minute of the meeting of the Licensing Committee of 27 January 2015, the Sub Committee had before it (1) letters of representation dated 4 December 2014 and 19 January 2015, from Mr McKane, Enforcement Officer to the applicant; and (2) a statement from the applicant.

The Sub Committee heard the applicant speak in support of the application.

The Sub Committee was advised by Mr McKane that the applicant’s vehicle had passed the inspection test.

The Sub Committee resolved:

to grant the application.
