Application for a Window Cleaner's Licence - Donald Matheson pdf icon PDF 4 MB

Additional documents:

Minutes:

The Sub Committee had before it (a) an application for a window cleaner’s licence completed by Donald Matheson and (b) an information note by the Head of Legal and Democratic Services.

The information note advised that the application required to be determined by 2 August and that to date the applicant had failed to provide evidence of his public liability insurance policy which was a requirement for the grant of a window cleaner’s licence.

The applicant was not in attendance.

The Sub Committee resolved:-

(i)         to refuse the application, and

(ii)        to agree to waive the application fee should the applicant re-apply and to advise the applicant that should the application be resubmitted within one year with evidence of a valid public liability insurance policy that the Licensing Committee would consider whether a material change had occurred and whether to consider the application at that time.
