Premises – Mastrick Grocer, 9 Greenfern Place, Aberdeen

 

The Board had before it a letter of objection and heard the objector speak in its support.

 

Mr Dawson, Solicitor, addressed the Board in support of the application.

2.         APPLICATION FOR GRANT OF PREMISES LICENCE

Premises – Reddys, 110 - 112 Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen

3.         APPLICATION FOR GRANT OF PROVISIONAL PREMISES LICENCE

Premises – Hazlehead Park Café, Hazlehead Park, Aberdeen

 

Mr Dawson, Solicitor, addressed the Board in support of the application.

 

The Board resolved:-

to grant the application on condition that the area which provided the outdoor drinking facilities was enclosed by a way of a grass screen along its boundary.

The Board had before it a letter of objection and heard the objector speak in its support.

9.         APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE

Premises – Palm Court Hotel, 18 Seafield Road, Aberdeen

 

Mr Wood, Solicitor, addressed the Board in support of the application.  In his address he sought to withdraw that part of the application which referred to the variation of core licensing hours on Sundays.

 

The Board resolved:-

to grant the application as amended.

The Secretary of the bowling club addressed the Board in support of the application.

11.       APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE

Premises – TGI Friday’s, 14, First Level Mall, Union Square, Aberdeen

 

Councillor Forsyth declared an interest and left the room until the application was determined.

 

Mr Wood, Solicitor, addressed the Board in support of the application.

 

The Board resolved:-

to grant the application.

 

 

12.       APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE

Premises – Rendezvous at Tonik, Unit 10, The Galleria, Bon Accord Street, Aberdeen

 

The Board had before it a letter of objection from Grampian Police and Sergeant Skinner addressed the Board in its support.

 

Mr Dawson, Solicitor, addressed the Board in support of the application.

 

The Board resolved:-

to grant the application on the following conditions:- (1)  Door supervisors shall be employed at the entrances to (a) Galleria Shopping Mall; (b) the entrance to Unit 10, The Galleria; and (c) the entrance to Unit 6, The Galleria; (2) The operating plan shall be modified in section 3(v) by adding “existing outside drinking courtyard area also only to be used for the sale and supply of alcohol after 18:00 hours onwards”; and (3) the words “PLH Staff” are to be replaced by “PLH Staff, trained bar staff or door supervisors”.

 

 

13.       APPLICATION FOR PERSONAL LICENCE

The Board had before it a notice in terms of section 73(3)(d) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 submitted by Grampian Police.  Sergeant Skinner spoke in support of the Notice.

 

The applicant failed to attend.

 

The Board resolved:-

to refuse the application.

 

 

14.       APPLICATION FOR PERSONAL LICENCE

Application Ref. No.  1/014

 

The Board had before it a notice in terms of section 78(3)(b) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 from Grampian Police.  Sergeant Skinner spoke in support of the Notice.

 

The applicant spoke in support of the application.

 

The Board resolved:-

to refuse the application.
