The Committee had before it a report by the Director of Enterprise, Planning and Infrastructure which outlined the proposed traffic management measures that require to be progressed through the legal process for the required Traffic Regulation Order in association with the imminent construction of the Third Don Crossing.

The report recommended:-

that the Committee -

(a)       note the proposed traffic management proposals; and

(b)       instruct officers to commence the necessary legal procedures of preliminary statutory consultation for the various Traffic Regulation Orders required as described in this report.  If no significant objections are received, then progress with the public advertisement and report the results to a future meeting of the Committee.

The Committee resolved:-

to approve the recommendations.
